I love Over the Garden Wall. Next year at my school, I am doing a full stage adaptation of Over the Garden Wall. I'm very excited!
In each episode, the title screen has a series of pictures around them. Depending on the episode, one of them will disappear and appear with the episode's title.
However, these three pictures were never used. What could they mean?
Recently, I've seen OtGW fans asking about if such a thing exists, so I spent the better half of this month compiling and organizing a spreadsheet of every official comic, figure, poster, collectible, and piece of Hot Topic merch that was created for this show.
I enlisted the help of a Reddit user who has collected all of the comic variants, and scoured defunct webpages on the Wayback Machine for reference photos and release dates. DM me if you see errors or new items not already on the list.

So I think that The Unknown is a realm like Wanda created in WandaVision, where when you get sucked in you must play your part like the Beast says. But Greg and Wirt are outsiders to the realm- they weren't in the area when it was created. So when they enter, they still possess full control of themselves, but the Beast is constantly wearing them down, trying to force them to do what he wants. And when he died, the realm collapsed, and that's why the woodman's daughter was alive etc.
