Pooree is an elephant character introduced in Over the Garden Wall (comic) #5, he's introduced as a new student to the class of School Animals seen in the episode Schooltown Follies. He is noticeably too big for his desk and bed and is seen as being clumsy. Causing the other students to tease him and laugh at him. Miss. Langtree, however, is kind to him throughout the comic. Pooree decides to leave the school. But before he leaves he makes a 'currie-pie,' a recipe from his homeland. The School Animals eat the pie feeling sad, then realize that they judged him too hard. and they realize he has a sweet heart. So they sent out a couple of the School Animals to go find him. When he comes back he teaches them how to make the currie-pie and they all enjoy it together.

Appearance[]

Pooree is a short and stout elephant who wears a green suit, a red and yellow polka-dot neck-tie, and a small brown hat. He is seen with a large head that's as big as his body. He also carries around a handkerchief on a stick. He has small eyes and big feet.

Personality[]

Pooree is seen as being a bit clumsy and doesn't say any words. But he is a very skilled chef and uses his gift to cook for others in the Over the Garden Wall comic series. He is described as being "a sweet soul."
